the end of October

Is it okay for me to say I'm actually glad October is behind us? Never thought I'd be tired of pumpkin festivals and the like, but I sure am! Halloween day was packed full of fun though, starting with the Annual Pumpkin Slaughter (our first) at the Lhotka family home. In the evening, we joined Tedd's sister and her family at their San Marino home where they had a kid-centered block party. JP and Tab went trick-or-treating around the neighborhood and I *almost* got a little teary watching JP treck from house to house.

I think this is my favorite jack-o-lantern ever.

You guesed it...swine flu!

While walking down the sidewalk, JP stopped and declared, "I think this looks like a good place to take a nap."
